Since 2018, I’ve worked across nearly every stage of the publishing process: from bookselling and distribution to marketing, editorial, and production. However, my real passion lies with editing.

As the King puts it:

Today, I run Blue Leaf Editing, a boutique editing firm based in Cape Town, where I specialise in editing academic and non-fiction writing for clients around the world.

My editorial strengths lie in:

- Non-fiction editing: Business, memoir, research-based, and practical non-fiction
- Digital content editing: For long-term clients with blogs, landing pages, or online resources

My experience in the book trade gives me insight into the bigger picture (audience, distribution, credibility), which means I don’t just clean up words. I edit with purpose and publishing context.
