* Applicants for membership can pay the reduced fees listed above if they join PEG after 31 August. Their membership can start at any time between 1 September and 27 February but people who pay after 1 September do not receive membership for six months from the date of payment. Their membership ends on the last day of February, regardless of the starting date, and they must renew their membership for the next financial year before 30 April. Applicants should therefore consider whether the reduced rate is worth paying for the time remaining before the end of the financial year.
