Application process and terms of the mentorship

By applying for this mentorship, you acknowledge and agree that, if your application is successful:

  • It could take a few months to appoint a suitable mentor for you, as there may be a long waiting list of candidates. You will be informed if this is the case. We will also let you know when we expect a mentor to become available.
  • You will make yourself available to complete the mentorship within five months of the start date. Please note that this deadline may be changed by your mentor, should they need time to meet their own work commitments.
  • You will treat the material worked on during the mentorship as confidential.
  • Your application fee of R250 is not refundable.
  • You will pay the outstanding amount of R2,500 before the mentorship ends. You can pay this amount in instalments (see below).
  • If you and your mentor agree on an extended mentorship after the completion of the formal mentorship, this will be a direct arrangement between you.
  • You will abide by the guidelines set out in this application form and the PEG Mentoring Guide, and the terms agreed upon between you and your mentor.
