The session is open to Master's and PhD students in academia currently writing their dissertation or thesis, postgraduate supervisors, academic editors, and anyone else interested about learning what the academic writing process entails.
We’ll look at common red flags when it comes to distinguishing fact from fabrication, discuss tips for spotting authoritative sources, and work through ample illustrative examples to sharpen your fact-checking focus. Short in-session exercises will be an opportunity for shared learning.
We are happy to bring you a new offering in Coffee Conversations, AROUND THE COFFEE TABLE WITH ... a regular slot where we have a cosy 1-to-1 with individual PEG members.
It is not formal training nor is it a qualification. However, it is open to all interested members, whether they take the test or not.
