About the webinar

What exactly is a style sheet, why do editors need one, and how do you create one? In this introductory workshop we explore the difference between style guides and style sheets and show how a style sheet can make editing more efficient, consistent and manageable. We’ll look at different types of style sheets for different types of editing and consider what might work best for you. In the second half of the session, you’ll put theory into practice by creating your own style sheet while marking up a piece of text. This will be an interactive, hands-on online workshop rather than a ‘talk’ – so come prepared to engage and learn!
