PEG EC AGM

The AGM of the PEG Eastern Cape region will take place at 10:00 on Saturday 2 May 2026. See the proposed agenda here and the minutes of the 2025 AGM here.

Please note the following items in the agenda:

• Nominations for and elections of chair, vice-chair and secretary. The three encumbents, Kate (chair), Richard (vice-chair) and Nikki (secretary) are willing to stand for election again. However, if anyone would like to nominate other members for these positions or to fulfil any other roles, please email either myself or Nikki Watkins (nikki.watkins.pe@gmail.com). Voting will take place during the meeting.
• The Chair’s report will be sent out ahead of the AGM so that it can be taken as read.
• Working group – many thanks to Simone and Nikki for their help with the learning session programme this year.  If you are keen to assist with putting together the programme for the 2026/7 year, please consider being part of this working group.
• Learning sessions – please consider topics that you’d like to have on the programme and come to the AGM armed with your ideas! We will also discuss the scheduling times for the learning sessions during the AGM.
• Recording of AGM – note that, as with our learning sessions, the AGM will be recorded.

If there are any matters that you would like to bring up for discussion at the AGM, please let me know so that I can add it to the agenda. Otherwise, you may also raise new matters or matters during the meeting under item 5 of the agenda.

Please read through the minutes of last year’s meeting and let me know whether anything needs to be fixed, added or removed from them, either in advance of the meeting or under Item 2 of the agenda. These minutes will be taken as read.

As is traditional, the final item on the agenda is ‘Informal chat’. This part of the meeting is entirely voluntary and those needing to leave after the official closing of the AGM are welcome to do so.
