Those who are unable to attend the webinar live may submit their receipt as proof of having received the recording.

About the webinar
This webinar is the first of its kind and targets writers, editors, selectors and other parties interested in Kaaps. Discover Kaaps as a language not only for social interaction, poetry, drama and music but also for education and other higher functions. Sample the Trilingual Dictionary of Kaaps and learn about the linguistic challenges, victories and discoveries involved in the dictionary-making process, including how to deal with the linguistic variation in Kaaps. This webinar will lean towards the linguistic aspects of Kaaps and the role editors can play in the process of publishing Kaaps texts. The webinar will be conducted in English and Kaaps, but don’t feel shy to ask questions in Standard Afrikaans.

Quentin Williams is the current director of the Centre for Multilingualism and Diversities Research at the University of the Western Cape.
