About the webinar
What do you think of at the mention of editing medical texts? Have you considered that your intervention could either promote or detract from the appropriate application of data by a medical professional in the treatment of a patient? Communication is so important in the medical industry, whether that be in the context of a researcher reporting their findings, the production of study material or generating information sheets for patients.
This webinar will introduce you to aspects of medical texts that editors should be aware of, including the hierarchy of evidence, style, accuracy of descriptive terminology, scientific nomenclature and conventions, and the appropriate level of editorial intervention.
