This will be a quick Zoom get-together to allow KZN members to get to know each other better and establish who we are as a group. It would be great to see good attendance at this meeting; we look forward to meeting as many of you as possible. \nLooking ahead\, our plan includes organising quarterly gatherings – alternating between online sessions and in-person meetings. These events are designed primarily to facilitate networking on a regional level and\, secondarily\, to create a platform for shared learning. Although there are networking opportunities at a national level through activities such as the PEG coffee conversations and webinars\, we feel that the smaller group size at the regional level and relatively informal setting may encourage more active participation from more people. \nWe’d like to gather some information on our KZN PEG members to help us with: \n\nestablishing a regional PEG WhatsApp group\, providing a space for members to ask and answer questions and share valuable resources\, insights\, and suggestions.\nidentifying where everyone lives intending to facilitate optional\, informal meetups among those nearby and to guide us in deciding on locations for in-person meetings. This could potentially also lead to the formation of smaller core groups meeting in person.\n\nPlease help streamline our efforts by completing this Google form. \nFinally\, we would love to hear from you regarding any suggestions or challenges you may have\, or if you’d like to become more actively involved in arranging the activities of the PEG KZN region. We also want to emphasise that participation in regional activities is optional and that what we have outlined here serves as a starting point.
